As we offer term time only and full year childcare, the fees are calculated slightly differently. Full year fees are calculated over 51 weeks of the year and term time only is over 39 weeks of the year.
The following is an example of how fees are calculated:
This example is if a baby/child attends 3 days per week term time only & claims 30 hours of Funding:
Total hours booked : 10.5 hrs. per day x 3 days x 39 weeks = 1228.5
Funded hours entitlement: 30 hours per week x 38 weeks = 1140
Hours parents need to pay: 1228.50 - 1140 = 88.5
Hourly rate for non funded hours: 80.00 divided by 10.5 hours per day = 7.62 per hour
Total amount parent pays for: 88.50 x 7.62 = 674.37 per year
Monthly costs: 674.37 divided by 12 = 56.20
Additional charge for funded hours (includes: food, snacks, trips, communication App, sunscreen, Calpol, wipes, Quality learning resources, staff training) 30 hours x 38 weeks x 1.00 charge divided by 12 months = 95.00
30 hours x 38 weeks x 2.00 charge divided by 12 months = 190.00
Fees per month (every month the same) = 56.20 + 95.00 = 151.20.
= 56.20 + 190.00 = 246.20
This example is if a baby/child attends 3 days per week 51 weeks per year & claims 30 hours of Funding:
Total hours booked : 10.5 hrs. per day x 3 days x 51 weeks = 1606.5
Funded hours entitlement: 30 hours per week x 38 weeks = 1140
Hours parents need to pay: 1606.5 - 1140 = 466.5
Hourly rate for non funded hours: 80.00 divided by 10.5 hours per day = 7.62 per hour
Total amount parent pays for: 466.5 x 7.62 = 3554.73 per year
Monthly costs: 3554.73 divided by 12 = 296.23
Additional charge for funded hours (includes: food, snacks, trips, communication App, sunscreen, Calpol, wipes, Quality learning resources, staff training) 30 hours x 38 weeks x 1.00 charge divided by 12 months = 95.00
30 hours x 38 weeks x 2.00 charge divided by 12 months = 190.00
Fees per month (every month the same) = 296.23 + 95.00 = 391.23
= 296.23 + 190.00 = 486.23
The same format is used for any amount of days/sessions you book for your child, so you can calculate fees yourself.
We can also stretch the funding over 51 weeks so that parents can pay less a month if they choose to.
Bank holidays are offered back to parents when possible.
To secure your child's place, we ask for a voluntary 50.00, which is deducted from your first months fees.
